Overview

The Department of Physiology has a long and rich history. The earliest story of the department is related to Dr. O.Kilborn, a Canadian man who offered the first Physiology course in this university at the beginning of last century. Dr. L. Kilborn, son of Dr. O.Kilborn, became the first director of the department in 1921. The Department of Physiology has grown rapidly in teaching and research under the leadership of all previous directors. Over the years, we formed a dynamic faculty team with rich experience in teaching and research. The department currently has 11 faculty members, including 3 professors, 5 associated professors, 2 lecturers, and 1 laboratory technician.
